In my daily walks around Brookland, I’ve discovered that my neighbors and I share a lot of the same concerns about what’s happening in our neighborhood. As ANC, I am focusing on several key issues:
- Communications: Being accessible to residents of ANC 5B04 and communicate actively with them, ensuring that our ANC is transparent and responsive.
- Traffic and public safety: Working together with DDOT, MPD, and other City agencies to identify and implement solutions to our traffic problems, and to develop and implement strategies to make our streets safer for everyone.
- Parking: Ensuring that parking regulations and enforcement remain in step with the needs of our residents and businesses.
- Green Space: Working hard to preserve, maintain, and expand green space in our community.
- Development: Engaging with developers in a productive, cordial manner to ensure they remain responsive to community concerns and smart growth priorities.
